Danny is the Producer and Director of our animation division
Having Danny on a project is kind of like having direct access
to the hand of God.
He gives our ideas form. He breathes life into our vision.
Over the last 30 years, Danny has jumpstarted the hearts of many famous characters, starting with Gumby. His experience working
on Gumby landed him a position on Nightmare Before Christmas which was released in 1993. He continued on in stop motion animation working on James And The Giant Peach. It was a time of digital transition. Danny joined Pixar to do computer animation after the release of James and the Giant Peach. He worked as an animator on most of the Pixar movies beginning
with A Bugs Life. Other notable films at Pixar were Toy Story 2,
and 3, Monsters Inc. Finding Nemo, Walle, Up, Cars and various short format projects. Danny helped build the Pixar Toy Story Zoetrope which continues to travel the world in the Art of Pixar exhibit. After leaving Pixar in 2014 Danny has consulted and animated on various projects including Jibo (a personal assistant Robot) and has most recently gone back to his stop motion roots working with the stop motion crew of the Spike and Mike Festival documentary.
